Should I Use A Cash House Buying Company?

Should I Sell My House For Cash?
Should I sell my house for cash?

Or more specifically for this video, to a cash house buying company? My name’s Nick and I own Sell My San Antonio House, and the primary focus of our business is buying houses for cash. But that does not mean that we are the right fit for everyone. We’re able to help a lot of people for a lot of different reasons, but if you’re thinking about selling your house to a cash house buying company and you’re not sure the best route, what I would encourage you to do is take a step back and think about your situation and what things are going to benefit you the most to see if we, or another house-buying company, might be the best fit.

A lot of times, we are able to help out people whose homes need repairs, a little repairs, sometimes a whole lot of repairs, because we will buy any scope, and we will take on pretty much any project. Sometimes that’s just updating. Sometimes it’s a 1970’s house and it’s still got the same stuff from the seventies. The people selling would prefer not to take on the project or do the repairs. They would prefer to have a cash offer and sell to someone as is. Lots of times, we can help out there.

If you’re in some sort of time crunch, that can be for lots of reasons, sometimes there are financial stresses, you may be moving a job for work, you may have found another home, people want to move and they want to make sure that this home that they currently own is sold, it’s done, and that they’re able to move and purchase the other one, we get a lot of phone calls like that, where we can help folks out.

And then we get a lot where it may be some type of stressful situation or more of a personal situation where they don’t want people coming through the home. It’s causing them stress. And that’s things from inheritance to divorce, anything that is causing stress in their life. They’re like, “Hey, we want to get this done, and we don’t want to go through the steps of a traditional sale.” Great, love to talk to you, see if we can help you.

If you’ve got a house two years old and this thing’s immaculate and you’re like, “No, I’m not in any hurry. I don’t have to be out. I’d really like to test it, just see how much I could get,” we may not be the best fit for you, and that’s okay.

You want to make sure that you take a step back because often when you’re looking to sell your house, you get a lot of opinions from people who mean well but step back, it’s your house, it’s your situation, what’s going to help you most based on what the property needs, based on what you need to get out of the property and a lot of times based on your timeline for getting those things done?

When you look at that, then you can start to contact the right people and maybe it’s a house buying company and maybe there’s a better direction for you to go. But my best advice is just to step back, look at the pros and cons of going both directions, and then move forward with the best decision for you.
